Tamarix Poultry Farm has been at the forefront of Melbourne’s poultry industry, and the business has been privately owned by Agostino Postregna and his family for over 48 years.
Tamarix Poultry was originally located in Chandler Road, Keysborough and then moved to Chapel Road, Keysborough. It has been operating out of its current location at Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong South since 1981. Tamarix is now run by Agostino’s son Andrew and Andrew’s wife Lisa.
The Postregna family has continuously invested in new technology and continues to be at the forefront of the egg and poultry farming industry.
In late 2008, Andrew and Lisa embarked on an expansion program that has seen the latest eco friendly poultry shed in Victoria built. This new technology shed will be completed in early 2009 and will ensure the Postregna family remains at the cutting edge of the ultra competitive egg market.
